IBAAN MARKET VENDORS & COMMUNITY MULTIPURPOSE COOPERATIVE

        The Ibaan Market Vendors &  Community Multipurpose Cooperative was organized with minute operation in June 17,2005 by thirty original founding cooperators and Directors:Romeo A. De Torres (Founding Chairman),Roman D. Dimaano,Edel M. Caraan,Eleuterio Torrano,,Corazon G. Rocio,Marina A. Reyes,Ben Capuno,Roy Promentilla and Leonardo Castillo,with Mr. Alberto Balmes and Mrs. Evelyn P. Cabio as Manager and Bookkeeper respectively.The cooperative was registered on December 4,2006 and confirmed under the new law on October 15,2009 with the CDA.

OLD OFFICE

        The operation commenced with Php 135,000.00 starting capital out of Php 1.00 a day savings per vendor inspired by the belief that "If your efforts are genuine,you are a winner,all the way".

WESTERN UNION/BAYAD CENTER OFFICE

         Evident to its growth is the increasing membership of about 1,700 against the starting thirty cooperators with an equity of  Php 35,087,177.43  as of  2014 while the pooled assets pegged at Php 180,000,000.00.These figures clearly show the cooperative's soundness and liquidity ensuring the mobilization of its loan exposures to about Php 74Million being extended to members engaged in productive undertakings which yield a yearly average net surplus of Php 13Million.
Services offered by the cooperative were savings and loans,paiwi,Western Union Money Transfer,Bayad Center,and van rental,Other interventions being enjoyed by the general membership include education and trainings,seminars,job opportunity,mortuary aid,scholarship and allied community sevices.

diligent and inspired employees,headed by "Mother to all staff,"Manager Evelyn P. Cabio under the supervision of the Board of Directors chaired by Chairman Romeo A. De Torres.The cooperative is housed in a highly equipped three- storey building,the new and  largest edifice of the cooperative erected on its own lot at the vicinity of the Ibaan Public Market,Ibaan,Batangas, another proof of its continuing development.
